José Hernández Ortuño "Sanjo"
Born in 1946 in the Canar. (Alhama de Murcia). From small feel a fondness for drawing. With twenty years, after making several correspondence courses in art, his first solo exhibition in Alhama, then Murcia, Mula, Lorca and Totana. Doing military service six years living in Madrid, where he draws the Old City and its suburbs, while being a regular visitor to exhibitions and museums.
In 1976 (December) returns to Murcia and returns to paint and exhibit in Murcia and various locations in the region, including in the provinces of Alicante, Granada and Malaga, as well as Albacete and Cuenca.

In recent years he has been taking notes in a small format of buildings, places and landscapes that are disappearing in the garden of Murcia, also from the windows, turning and tablachos of ancient canals of Arab origin, now almost obsolete by the lack of water, donating to the city in 2008 over a hundred drawings, which together with photographs of Nestor is Lison exhibited in the museum of the city with the title "La Huerta, looks and emotions."
In 2009 and 2010 participated in the exhibition "Painters in Paraguay" collective and traveling through the region of Murcia, in the cities Cuenca and Albacete, with the sponsorship of UNESCO.
